The Beginning of the End:Ch10Chapter 10: Stuck Miroslav was grateful to have both Kit and Liora with him. They were both amazing. Their talents and abilities astounded him. The only strong woman he had ever known was his mother, and even she was not as strong as these two ladies. Having them both with him, he knew that they were the ladies he had been dreaming of. One would push him into the eye of a storm and the other would push the storm away from him. Kit was thankful to have Liora around. The girl was very useful. She was able to keep them healthy, and she was the only one who could get them money. She was also very generous with her money. She bought them food whenever Kit could not find something to hunt, and she bought Miroslav a horse. Kit was observant enough to know that as unselfish as Liora was, the girl was keeping something from her. Liora was taken for an apprentice-trained healer in many of the towns she went though. She still had her uniform; it was practically her only clothing. Many of the townsfolk and travelers hired her to do minor healing. She counted herself lucky enough to have her father’s gift. She could perform any basic magic to heal and she now knew a lot of intermediate spells. Her brother was kind enough to give her his journal. It has all the knowledge she could need to pass herself off as an apprentice to the healing community.&

Kit and Miroslav had to travel slowly since there was only one horse between the two of them. Robbers often attacked them. Kit was very good at showing them that they would get nothing. Miroslav, however, as a prince, looked very rich. He was practically a target for robbers, bandits, and thieves. Miroslav was also a very terrible fighter. He had never been in a fight before, and he frequently had to be patched up after the attacks. They barely got from one town to the next as days flew by; luckily,
